Eric’s Priorities

  • I will invest in San Dimas’ economic growth. We must grow the number of shopping and dining venues in downtown San Dimas. This will keep vital dollars in our community and drive our growth.

The Pioneer Square (PSQ) development proposal has stalled in our current city council. I will ensure this smart and thoughtful proposal is considered. It has the potential to transform our town and grow our economy.

My experience managing large, corporate projects uniquely qualifies me to bring new business to our area and to drive critical economic development projects.

  • I will build a stronger, safer community. Crime has exploded in San Dimas and more of our residents are experiencing homelessness.

I will partner with local experts - like Holy Name of Mary Church, Habitat for Humanity, and our own San Dimas Sheriff’s Station - to ensure the city provides support and resources to drive down crime and help get our homeless residents connected to necessary support services.

I will add cameras and lighting, increase patrols, and implement strong parking enforcement to proactively plan for the safety issues the Gold Line will bring.

  • I will strengthen our city’s infrastructure. San Dimas’s reserve funds are dwindling. Soon, the city will not be able to provide critical services such as street repairs or recreation center maintenance.

What makes San Dimas a great place to live is that our city is clean, has services that promote the public good, and invests in our schools, roads, buildings, and trees.

I understand how to responsibly run complex projects with complex budgets. I will comb through the city budget to maximize our infrastructure investments.

  • I will heal divisions within our community and bring people together. San Dimas is known for being a tight-knit community, and I will bring residents together to solve our common problems.

My campaign is not accepting endorsements from current sitting council members or campaign donations from businesses actively dealing with the city. This will ensure I am an independent voice for the community.

I will listen to all residents and will represent everyone in my district, especially those who do not feel they have a voice in city matters.
